Après la Chine et l’Inde, le nouveau marché de l’art s’intéresse au Moyen-Orient, et au premier chef à l’Iran. Christie’s, Sotheby’s et Bonhams vendent de l’art iranien à des prix astronomiques à Dubaï, New York et Londres. Et pas seulement les plus établis tels que Shirin Neshat et Y.Z. (galeries Barbara Gladstone et Gagosian à New York) ou Shrazeh Houshiary (galerie Lisson de Londres).
Cette ébullition se traduit par une fréquence grandissante des expositions organisées par les musées et galeries en Europe et États-Unis. Célébrant la vibration artistique de l’art contemporain iranien, la galerie YellowFishArt est fière de présenter «Doctrine in Reverse» une sélection d’œuvres de grand format, du photographe Aydin Matlabi. L’exposition met en lumière les débuts d’un jeune artiste iranien, dont l’art génère un dialogue à la fois inspirant et progressif. Oeuvres photographiques de grand format: portraits, photos de manifestations et paysages, complètent l’exposition.
